Security Concerns Rise in KP
The attacks come amid a wider increase in militant violence across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Earlier on Tuesday, security forces reported killing five militants and injuring two others during an operation targeting militant hideouts in North Waziristan.
Police and security officials continue to face attacks in districts near the Afghan border.
Pakistan also recorded 225 militant attacks in September, according to data compiled by the Pakistan Institute for Conflict and Security Studies (PICSS).
The figure represented the highest monthly number of militant attacks in 12 years, according to the institute.
The latest violence has renewed concerns about security in Dera Ismail Khan and other parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Authorities are investigating the attacks and continuing efforts to identify and arrest those responsible.
