The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) continued its positive momentum on Thursday, with the benchmark KSE-100 Index gaining 332.02 points, or 0.2%, to reach 170,301.34 during intraday trading.
The index opened at 169,969.32, its previous close. It moved between an intraday high of 170,688.38 and a low of 170,189.26. Trading volume stood at 24.03 million shares at the time of the report.
KSE-100 Extends Previous Gains
The latest advance followed a positive session on Wednesday.
The KSE-100 Index gained 368.92 points, or 0.22%, to close at 169,969.32. The index had climbed as high as 171,492.52 during the session before selling pressure reduced the gains.

The benchmark later touched an intraday low of 169,872.13 before recovering slightly by the close.
Selling Pressure Limits Gains
Wednesday’s session saw investors take profits after the index moved above the 171,000 level.
According to market data, the KSE-100 remained in positive territory but surrendered much of its early advance before closing at 169,969.32.
The market’s performance on Thursday remained subject to further trading activity and changes in investor sentiment.
