Pakistan cricket team’s white-ball bowling coach Ashley Noffke has resigned from his position, according to sources, bringing his stint with the national side to an end after the 2026 Asian Games.
Sources said Noffke has informed the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) of his decision to step down from his coaching responsibilities.
Noffke’s final assignment with Pakistan will be the 2026 Asian Games, where he has been confirmed as part of the support staff for the men’s team. He is expected to leave his position after the tournament.
Sources said Noffke has also held discussions about a possible coaching position with a team from an associate nation, although no appointment has been confirmed.

The PCB has meanwhile begun the process of finding a replacement and has advertised the vacancy for Pakistan’s men’s bowling coach.
According to the board, interested candidates can submit their applications by October 8. Applicants must also meet the specified coaching accreditation and professional experience requirements.
Noffke was appointed Pakistan’s bowling coach in May 2025 and has spent around 16 months working with the national team. During his tenure, he was also given additional responsibilities as interim Test bowling coach during Pakistan’s recent tour of England.
His departure will now leave the PCB with the task of appointing a new bowling coach as Pakistan prepares for upcoming international commitments following the Asian Games.
