Taylor Swift made a surprise appearance at the Emmys through a pretaped Law & Order: Special Victims Unit parody while attending Travis Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs game with Hollywood star Tom Cruise.
Swift was at Arrowhead Stadium on September 14 as the Chiefs faced the Denver Broncos in their first game of the season. Cruise sat alongside the singer during the Monday Night Football opener, adding another high-profile moment to Swift’s busy week.
Swift also appeared in an Emmys sketch built around speculation over whether she would attend the awards ceremony.
Emmy host Mariska Hargitay appeared as her Law & Order: SVU character, Olivia Benson, while investigating the question of Swift’s whereabouts. The sketch played on the intense attention Swifties often give to clues about the singer’s next move.

Swift joined the pretaped segment herself, adding to the mystery surrounding her potential appearance at the ceremony.
Kelce has played for the Chiefs since 2013 and has won three Super Bowl titles with the team. Swift has frequently attended his games since their relationship became public, making her appearances at Chiefs games a regular feature of the NFL season.
The couple also married during the summer at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
Swift is also attracting awards-season attention for her song “I Knew It, I Knew You”, featured on the Toy Story 5 soundtrack.
