Instagram has announced stricter measures against accounts that appear to represent real people but actually feature fictional personalities created using artificial intelligence.
The platform said it would revise its policy following complaints and feedback from users about AI-generated fictional profiles.

Under the revised policy, Instagram will replace its existing “AI Creator” label with “AI Generated Profile.”
