Mohammad Nawaz has been ruled out of the Al Batal Presents University of Lahore National Champions Cup after suffering a fracture to his right middle finger, the Pakistan Cricket Board confirmed on Friday.
Nawaz underwent scans on Thursday, August 13, after sustaining the injury during Sparco Paints Pakistan Gold’s match against Al Batal Productions Pakistan Blues on August 12.
The scans confirmed a fracture, which will keep the left-arm spinner out of action for at least three weeks.

Nawaz suffered the injury while fielding at Multan Cricket Stadium. Despite the setback, he completed his full quota of 10 overs during the match.
Sparco Paints Pakistan Gold eventually lost the game by six wickets.
After two weeks, Nawaz will report to the PCB Sports and Exercise Medicine Department. He will then begin conditioning under medical supervision.
The spinner will also follow the required Return-to-Play protocols as part of his recovery.
