Rajab Butt, a popular Pakistani YouTuber, and four other accused will face indictment on August 18 in an assault case, a Lahore sessions court ruled.
Additional Sessions Judge Zafaryab heard the case following a complaint filed by Ayesha Jutt against Butt and the other accused.
During the hearing, the prosecution raised concerns about the police investigation. Prosecutors argued that investigators had not properly examined the accused while preparing the challan.

The prosecution asked the court to review the matter according to law and allow further proceedings in the case.
After reviewing the arguments and examining the case record, the court scheduled August 18 for framing charges against Rajab Butt and the four co-accused.
The court also directed all five accused to appear at the next hearing.
The indictment will formally set out the charges that the accused will face as the case moves forward.
