Broadway Pizza has opened its 82nd branch near Gulshan-e-Maymar, marking another step in the company’s expansion across Pakistan. The new outlet is located on the main road adjacent to Hadiabad Society.
The branch can accommodate around 60 to 70 customers, with a particular focus on families. Meanwhile, online ordering and home delivery remain key parts of the company’s business model.
Speaking exclusively about the new outlet, Broadway Pizza Founder and Chairman Javed Masood said the company places strong emphasis on honesty and quality.
He said the company considers market demand and consumer needs before opening new branches. As a result, Broadway Pizza has expanded its presence across Karachi and Hyderabad and continues to monitor areas where demand is growing.
Masood acknowledged that business conditions in Pakistan remain difficult. He said the challenges are particularly significant for formal businesses that provide employment and contribute to the national economy.

Despite these difficulties, Broadway Pizza has continued to expand. Masood said the company has provided employment to around 2,500 to 3,000 people, describing the achievement as a matter of pride.
He also said businesses face pressure as the government seeks greater contributions to the national budget. However, he maintained that the company remains focused on growth through quality, hard work and long-term planning.
Expansion driven by market demand
Masood explained that Broadway Pizza evaluates local demand before establishing an outlet. The company then considers consumer preferences and the potential of each market.
The brand has already established branches in several cities, including Karachi and Hyderabad. Moreover, the company plans to open additional outlets where customer demand continues to increase.
On franchising, Masood said Broadway Pizza operates most of its outlets directly in major cities such as Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
The company has offered franchises on a limited basis in smaller cities. According to Masood, maintaining consistent quality and operational standards can become more difficult under a franchise model.
For this reason, the company prefers to retain direct control over most of its outlets.
From a small network to 82 branches
Masood said Broadway Pizza reached its current position after around 14 to 15 years of sustained effort.
His experience in the food industry began even earlier, he said. He used that experience to develop Broadway Pizza and expand the brand across Pakistan.
The company also aims to keep its products accessible to a broad customer base. Masood said some food options are available for around Rs300 to Rs400.
He added that the new branch particularly targets students, young people and families. Several schools are located near the outlet, while the company is also seeking opportunities in areas with young and educated populations.
Hard work and vision behind success
Discussing business success, Masood said luck can play a role, but hard work, education, sound decisions and vision remain essential.
He said circumstances and opportunities can influence the early stages of a person’s career. Nevertheless, sustained effort and choosing the right direction are crucial for long-term success.
Masood also recalled receiving a business opportunity from the United Kingdom when Broadway Pizza had around 13 or 14 branches.
A British organisation offered him the opportunity to establish two outlets in the UK and create employment for six people for two years.
However, Masood chose to remain in Pakistan and continue developing his business.
He said moving to the UK could have resulted in future generations becoming more distant from Pakistan. Therefore, he decided to stay and continue expanding Broadway Pizza from within the country.
