It added that the political process must remain credible, time-bound and consistent with international law, international legitimacy and relevant United Nations resolutions.

Moreover, Pakistan reaffirmed its longstanding support for an independent, sovereign, contiguous and viable State of Palestine.
The Foreign Office said the future Palestinian state should be based on the pre-1967 borders, with Al-Quds Al-Sharif (Jerusalem) as its capital.
Finally, Pakistan reiterated its commitment to supporting international efforts that promote lasting peace, regional stability and a just resolution to the Palestinian issue.
