The petition came before a judge of the Lahore Family Court. Advocate Mudassar Chaudhry represented Dr Nabiha Ali during the proceedings.
The lawyer informed the court that both parties had amicably resolved all outstanding issues. He then requested permission to withdraw the petition seeking judicial divorce.
The court accepted the request and dismissed the petition after confirming that Dr Nabiha Ali had voluntarily withdrawn the case.
The decision brings the legal proceedings to an end following the couple’s reconciliation.
