Pakistan Peoples Party Women’s Wing Karachi reviews cantonment polls strategy, organizational performance

KARACHI: An important organizational meeting of the Pakistan Peoples Party Women’s Wing Karachi Division was held, which was chaired by President Women’s Wing Karachi Division Dr. Shahida Rehmani. The meeting was attended by General Secretary Shahina Sher Ali, Deputy General Secretary Asma Hassan, Deputy Information Secretary Syeda Tahseen Abidi, Presidents of all districts, General Secretaries, Information Secretaries and other Karachi Division office bearers.

The meeting began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, after which Fateha was offered for the eternal peace of Quaid-e-Awam Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, Mohtarma Shaheed Benazir Bhutto and all the martyrs of the party. On this occasion, special prayers were also offered for the health, safety, success and further development of the party leadership Mr. Asif Ali Zardari, Faryal Talpur, Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Bibi Aseefa Bhutto Zardari. Later, the proceedings report of the previous meeting was presented and approved. Organizational performance reports were sought from all districts in the meeting.

Various districts were given detailed briefings regarding their performance, public relations campaign, contacts with workers and delivering the party message to every household. The meeting focused on preparations for the cantonment elections. On this occasion, important instructions were issued regarding the organizational activities of the women’s wing, election strategy, mobilization of workers and effective communication with voters. Dr. Shahida Rahmani said that all districts should further intensify their activities and remain in constant contact with the people.

She also sought details of district visits, local level meetings and organizational contacts. General Secretary Shahina Sher Ali said that activating the organization up to the unit level is the need of the hour, while the political participation of women and the spirit of public service will be further promoted. Deputy Information Secretary Syeda Tahseen Abidi said that the activities of the women’s wing, public relations and the party message will be conveyed to the public through modern media and effective communication. At the end of the meeting, full confidence was expressed in the leadership of Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and the commitment to further intensify organizational and electoral activities in Karachi Division was reiterated.
