Karachi: Türkiye is set to host the 60th edition of its prestigious Presidential Cycling Tour, running from April 27 to May 4, 2025. The eight-stage race will span the country’s most picturesque routes, from Antalya to İzmir, blending elite sportsmanship with an unforgettable cultural journey.
Held under the patronage of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye, and supported by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and Türkiye Tourism Promotion and Development Agency (TGA), the event will feature top cycling teams from the US, Europe, and Asia. The race will not only test the cyclists’ endurance but also offers a cinematic showcase of Türkiye’s landscapes and heritage.
Broadcast live in 190 countries, the tour is a powerful display of Türkiye’s rich tourism offering—from ancient ruins and UNESCO heritage sites to idyllic coastlines and vibrant local traditions. Cyclists will pass through iconic locations such as Patara Beach, Butterfly Valley, Ephesus, and Çeşme, while sampling regional delights like simit, Turkish tea, and more.
As a ProSeries race on the UCI European Tour calendar, the event marks Türkiye’s emergence as a key player in international cycling. More than a race, it’s a celebration of the country’s natural beauty, history, and its commitment to cycling tourism, with bike-friendly facilities and infrastructure already in place.
