IMF Acknowledges Pakistan’s Economic Recovery IMF Chief Kristalina Georgieva praised Pakistan’s economic performance, noting rising growth and declining inflation. She recognized PM Shehbaz’s leadership in advancing the reform agenda, which has played a key role in achieving macroeconomic stability. She reiterated the IMF’s support for Pakistan’s economic transformation, stressing the need for fiscal discipline, structural reforms, and good governance to sustain long-term economic stability and progress.
