Weather Department forecasts windstorms with thunder and scattered rainfall in several Sindh districts today and tomorrow, while Karachi is expected to remain hot and humid.
KARACHI: The Pakistan Meteorological Department has forecast light to moderate rain with gusty winds and thunderstorms across various districts of Sindh today and tomorrow.
According to the forecast, today’s weather activity is expected in several parts of the province, including Sukkur, Kashmore, Larkana, Shikarpur, Qambar Shahdadkot, Dadu, Khairpur, Naushahro Feroze, Sanghar, Mirpurkhas, and Umerkot, where scattered showers accompanied by thunderstorm activity may occur.
For tomorrow, similar weather conditions are likely in Jamshoro, Qambar Shahdadkot, Ghotki, Khairpur, Sanghar, Umerkot, and Tharparkar, where isolated windstorms and light rainfall are expected.
Meteorologists have indicated that the system may bring brief but intense weather activity in some areas, particularly during afternoon and evening hours.
In contrast, Karachi is expected to remain partly cloudy, hot, and humid over the next three days.
The maximum temperature in the city is forecast to range between 35°C and 37°C, with continued humidity likely to make conditions feel warmer than actual temperatures.
Overall, most parts of Sindh are expected to remain hot, very hot, and dry, except for scattered regions where intermittent rain and thunderstorm activity may provide temporary relief.
