KARACHI – Sindh Governor Syed Muhammad Nohal Hashmi visited the British High Commission in Karachi, where he met British High Commissioner Jane Marriott and Deputy High Commissioner Tom Burge along with other diplomatic staff.
Diplomatic officials welcomed the Sindh Governor upon his arrival. The British High Commissioner and her team hosted the delegation in a cordial atmosphere.
Both sides discussed matters of mutual interest during the meeting. They focused on strengthening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation between Pakistan and the United Kingdom.
Moreover, officials reviewed opportunities for enhanced collaboration in different sectors.
The British High Commissioner praised Pakistan’s role in promoting peace and stability in the region. She acknowledged the country’s continued efforts in supporting regional security.
In addition, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening Pakistan-UK relations.
During the meeting, the British High Commissioner also congratulated the Sindh Governor on performing the pilgrimage of Hajj. The gesture reflected goodwill and mutual respect between both sides.
Officials from both Pakistan and the United Kingdom agreed to continue engagement and deepen cooperation. They expressed optimism about expanding diplomatic relations in the future.
