The SDC assured that short technical courses

ranging from 3 to 6 months, would be

introduced for AIT students

News Desk

Karachi: The Skill Development Council (SDC) Karachi, under the Federal Ministry of Education and Professional Training of Pakistan, recently visited the Aligarh Institute of Technology (AIT) to discuss a partnership aimed at enhancing students’ vocational skills. The SDC delegation, led by Director Farheen Baig and Corporate Officer Mirza Haider Baig, met with AIT Principal Shahid Jameel in a positive and collaborative environment.

Short Technical Courses for AIT Students

During the meeting, the SDC assured that short technical courses, ranging from 3 to 6 months, would be introduced for AIT students. These programs, which are highly valued on a global scale, will focus on providing students with essential vocational training. Upon successful completion, students will receive certification and have access to employment opportunities abroad, particularly in the Middle East.

AIT’s Campus Praised for Modern Infrastructure

The delegation toured the AIT campus and praised its state-of-the-art infrastructure, highlighting it as a model for technical education. The modern facilities and curriculum were recognized as pivotal factors in preparing students for success in both local and international markets.

Enhancing Global Opportunities for AIT Students

This collaboration between the Skill Development Council and AIT is set to elevate the institution and its students on an international level. It will equip AIT students with technical skills that meet global standards, opening doors to both academic and professional growth.

According to Principal Shahid Jameel, this partnership ensures a bright future for AIT students, enabling them to showcase their talents globally. The initiative will also bolster AIT’s reputation as a leading technical institute in Pakistan.

Sources reveal that a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between SDC and AIT will be signed soon, marking the formal beginning of this impactful collaboration.
