Coin featuring armed forces’ valor
to be available from August 15, 2025
at SBP field offices nationwide

Karachi: The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) will issue a Rs. 75 commemorative coin to honor the bravery of Pakistan’s armed forces during the Marka-e-Haq and to mark the country’s Independence Day with due dignity. The Federal Government has approved the issuance, with the coin available through SBP Banking Services Corporation field offices from August 15, 2025.

Obverse Design:
The front side of the coin features a waxing crescent moon and a five-pointed star facing northwest in a rising position. The inscription “Islami Jamhuria Pakistan” in Urdu appears along the top periphery. The issuance year 2025 is placed below the crescent, above two upward-curved wheat sprigs. The numeral “75” and the word “Rupia” in Urdu are displayed on the right and left sides of the crescent, respectively.
Reverse Design:
The reverse bears the inscription “Marka-e-Haq” in Urdu and the year 2025 at its center. Along the top periphery is the patriotic slogan “Pakistan Hamesha Zindabad” in Urdu. The design also includes two fighter aircraft (on the right and left), a naval ship, and a Multiple Rocket Launcher System (MRLS), symbolizing the strength of Pakistan’s armed forces.
The SBP stated that the coin will be available for the public through all SBP field office exchange counters starting August 15, 2025.
