PM Shahbaz Visits Home of Martyred Lt Col Gul Faraz in Mansehra

The prime minister met the mother, wife and children of the fallen officer, expressing solidarity and praying for strength and patience for the bereaved family.

Mansehra: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday visited the residence of Lt Col Shahzada Gul Faraz, who was martyred while leading an operation against Fitna al Khawarij militants, to offer condolences to his family.

The prime minister met the mother, wife and children of the fallen officer, expressing solidarity and praying for strength and patience for the bereaved family.

Tribute at Grave

Mr Sharif also visited the grave of Lt Col Gul Faraz, offered Fateha and prayed for the elevation of his ranks in Jannah.

“Lt Col Shahzada Gul Faraz Shaheed sacrificed his life while safeguarding the country,” the prime minister said, describing the officer’s actions as a symbol of bravery and courage.

He added that the entire nation stood proud of its martyrs and their families and would never forget their sacrifices.

Government Support Assured

The prime minister assured the family of the government’s and the Pakistan Army’s continued support.

On the occasion, he also announced the establishment of a Daanish School in Mansehra in the name of Lt Col Shahzada Gul Faraz to honour his legacy.

PM Shahbaz Sharif Sharif also visited the grave of Lt Col Gul Faraz, offered Fateha and prayed for the elevation of his ranks in Jannah.

Officials in Attendance

Federal Ministers Attaullah Tarar, Amir Muqam and Sardar Muhammad Yousuf, Adviser to the Prime Minister Rana Sanaullah, Capt (retd) Muhammad Safdar, Murtaza Javed Abbasi and Shah Ji Gul Afridi were also present during the visit.
