Pakistan’s Envoy Visits Bolu to Show Solidarity After Kartalkaya Fire

Ankara: In the aftermath of a tragic fire at a hotel in the Kartalkaya ski resort, Bolu, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Türkiye, Dr. Yousaf Junaid, visited the affected area to offer condolences and demonstrate unwavering solidarity with the Turkish nation.

On behalf of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and the people of Pakistan, Ambassador Dr. Junaid expressed profound condolences and recited Fatiha for those who lost their lives in the devastating incident. He emphasized the enduring bond between Pakistan and Türkiye, stating, “Pakistan and Türkiye share a glorious history of mutual support. Our hearts beat together, sharing both joy and sorrow. The entire Pakistani nation is deeply grieved by this tragedy.”

During his visit to the AFAD Coordination Centre, Ambassador Junaid was briefed on the incident by AFAD President and Governor Okay Memiş. Governor Memiş detailed the measures taken to control the situation and expressed gratitude for Pakistan’s solidarity during this difficult time.

“Türkiye deeply values Pakistan’s heartfelt support and the ambassador’s visit, which underscores the strong bond between our nations,” said Governor Memiş.

This visit reaffirms the historic camaraderie between Pakistan and Türkiye, exemplifying their unity in times of both joy and grief.
