Lahore: Ambassador of Sports Shahid Sajjad Hussain visited the Pakistan Olympic Association (POA) today, where he met with POA President Syed Mohammad Abid Qadri Gilani. The meeting focused on fostering sports ties between Pakistan and South Sudan, with discussions covering various collaborative opportunities.

Handball Series Between Pakistan and South Sudan

During the meeting, Ambassador Shahid Sajjad Hussain expressed his enthusiasm about the upcoming Pakistan Handball National Team’s visit to South Sudan. He highlighted the significance of the handball series scheduled for November, celebrating the growing sports relationship between the two countries.

This collaboration is expected to enhance both nations’ sporting profiles and contribute to international goodwill through sports diplomacy.
