Pakistan Navy warships participate in Seaspark 2026 in Karachi.
The Pakistan Navy has launched Seaspark 2026, a major naval exercise in Karachi aimed at assessing the country’s readiness to respond to conventional and modern maritime threats.
Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf attended the opening briefing as chief guest and stressed that the navy could not compromise on operational preparedness amid an increasingly complex regional security environment.
Addressing naval officers and personnel, Admiral Naveed Ashraf highlighted the growing importance of the information domain in modern warfare.
He called for a strong joint strategy among the Pakistan Army, Pakistan Navy and Pakistan Air Force as the nature of warfare continues to evolve.

The exercise will test the navy’s ability to respond to a range of maritime security challenges and assess operational preparedness across different domains.
Warships, submarines, aircraft, drones, Pakistan Marines and Special Operations Forces are participating in Seaspark 2026.
The Pakistan Army and Pakistan Air Force will also demonstrate joint operational planning and combat capabilities during the exercise.
The participation of the three services will provide an opportunity to assess coordination and joint responses under simulated operational conditions.
During the exercise, Admiral Naveed Ashraf visited Pakistan Navy warships and reviewed ongoing operational activities.
He also met officers and personnel serving with fleet units and assessed their preparedness.
Seaspark 2026 reflects the Pakistan Navy’s focus on maintaining operational readiness and an edge across multiple dimensions of naval warfare.
The exercise will also help strengthen joint operational coordination as Pakistan’s armed forces prepare for emerging conventional and modern security challenges.
