Ankara: The Embassy of Pakistan in Ankara, in collaboration with the Pakistan Embassy International Study Group, organized an International Seerat-un-Nabi (Peace Be Upon Him) Conference on September 20, 2025, to mark the 1500th blessed birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

The conference brought together diplomats, scholars, and community representatives in a celebration of the Prophet’s (PBUH) life and universal teachings of peace, compassion, and justice.

Distinguished guests included Ambassador M. Amanul Haq of Bangladesh, Ambassador Abdul Raheem of Maldives, Ambassador Nadir Yousif Eltayeb of Sudan, and former Turkish Consul General to Karachi, Cemal Sangu. Delegates from the UAE, Iran, Azerbaijan, and Egypt also attended, reflecting the event’s broad international significance.

Prominent scholars such as Prof. Dr. Mirzahan Hizal, Dr. Saban Ali Duzgun, and Pakistan’s Ambassador to Türkiye, Dr. Yousaf Junaid, delivered thought-provoking addresses. They stressed that the Prophet’s (PBUH) seerat offers timeless guidance for humanity, emphasizing mercy, justice, fraternity, and empathy as essential values for addressing contemporary global challenges.

Soulful naats recited in reverence of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) added a spiritual and dignified dimension to the gathering.

In his keynote address, Ambassador Dr. Yousaf Junaid stated: “The Prophet’s (PBUH) seerat is living guidance. It challenges us to rise above narrow interests and work for the collective good of humanity. It calls us to spread peace in the world, to show mercy in a time of harshness, and to uphold justice in an age of inequality.”

The conference concluded with participants reaffirming their commitment to embodying the Prophet’s (PBUH) teachings in efforts to foster harmony, compassion, and unity across societies.
