Surprise Visits to SEF-Partnered Schools

The Chief Minister appreciated the initiatives led by non-governmental organizations in partnership with the Sindh Education Foundation (SEF). His first stop was the Green Crescent Trust (GCT) school in Bilal Colony, where Principal Irum Fatima shared that 559 students from low-income families are enrolled, with classes ranging from preschool to eighth grade.

SEF supports such schools with Rs. 1,300 per student per month. Addressing the principal’s concern about the inability to enroll over 1,000 additional children due to capacity constraints, Mr. Shah assured government assistance to expand facilities and instructed the Education Minister to monitor SEF-affiliated schools regularly.
