Karachi: Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori has expressed gratitude to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for launching a five-year visa policy for Pakistani citizens. He termed the move a significant step in strengthening the historic and strategic ties between Pakistan and the UAE. The Governor made these remarks during a meeting with UAE Ambassador H.E. Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Salem Al-Zaabi at the Governor House Karachi. UAE Consul General Bakheet Ateeq Al-Remeithi also attended the meeting.

Sindh Keen to Boost Trade and Economic Ties with UAE
Governor Tessori highlighted that Pakistan, particularly Sindh, is keen to expand trade and economic cooperation with the UAE. Both sides held comprehensive discussions on bilateral relations, investment opportunities, and matters of mutual interest. Ambassador Al-Zaabi congratulated the Governor and his family on the successful performance of Hajj and appreciated his efforts in facilitating the visa policy’s implementation. He emphasized that the UAE considers Pakistan a growing economic and defense power in the region.

Growing Interest Among Pakistanis in UAE Travel
Consul General Bakheet Ateeq Al-Remeithi acknowledged the support provided by the Governor and noted that in the last two months, a large number of Pakistanis have traveled to the UAE. He added that the UAE authorities are offering them maximum facilities and assistance.

Governor Inaugurates Second Healthcare Expo in Karachi
In a separate event held on the same day, Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori inaugurated the Second Healthcare Expo in Karachi. Speaking at the event, he said the expo is not merely an exhibition but the beginning of a vision, a continuous journey, and a national responsibility.

Healthcare a Top Priority for National Development
The Governor stressed that improving Pakistan’s healthcare sector should be a top national priority. He urged medical professionals and healthcare experts to send their proposals to the Governor House, assuring that he would personally present them to the concerned authorities in Islamabad.
