Karachi: The French government has awarded Muna Siddiqui, President of the Board of the Alliance Française de Karachi, the prestigious Chevalier de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres, recognizing her outstanding contributions to art, craftsmanship, and cultural exchange.

In a formal reception, Nicolas Galey, French Ambassador to Pakistan, praised Siddiqui’s efforts in revitalizing the Alliance Française de Karachi and strengthening Franco-German cultural cooperation. He highlighted her significant role in preserving traditional art forms and mentoring artisans.

A distinguished artist, writer, and art critic, Siddiqui has left a lasting impact on Pakistan’s artistic landscape. She is the founder of The Craft Company, known for blending heritage with contemporary design.
