Karachi: PowerHouse, the exclusive local partner of French multinational electrical and digital building infrastructure company Legrand, has formally launched Legrand’s operations in Pakistan, marking the brand’s official entry into the country’s electrical and smart living market.
The inauguration ceremony was held at the Mövenpick Hotel in Karachi, where industry stakeholders, architects, developers and business leaders gathered to witness the unveiling of Legrand’s product portfolio.
According to PowerHouse officials, the launch represents a strategic move to introduce international standards of innovation, safety and design to Pakistan’s rapidly expanding construction and infrastructure sector.
“Legrand’s entry into Pakistan reflects our commitment to providing world-class electrical and smart living solutions to local consumers,” a PowerHouse spokesperson said. “We are pleased to bring Legrand’s advanced switches and wiring devices to the market and plan to expand operations to Lahore and Islamabad in the near future.”
Legrand offers a broad range of electrical and smart living products, catering to residential, commercial and industrial applications. The company’s solutions focus on energy efficiency, safety, connectivity and modern design, addressing the evolving needs of urban development and smart infrastructure.
Industry observers say the arrival of a global brand like Legrand is expected to intensify competition in Pakistan’s electrical equipment sector while expanding consumer access to advanced technologies aligned with international standards.
