ARP Rescue Youth members and guests attend the magazine launch ceremony in Karachi.
Youth creativity took centre stage as ARP Rescue Youth organised a magazine launch ceremony at ARP Central Church, Qayyumabad, celebrating the talents, ideas and community contributions of young people.
The ceremony was hosted by Rev. Sebastian Matthew, Parish In-Charge of ARP Central Church. Advocate Supreme Court Shehbaz Sohtra and Pervez Gill, a member of the European Union and FPCCI, attended as distinguished guests.
The newly launched magazine showcases the creative work, activities and ideas of ARP Rescue Youth. It also highlights their efforts to support the church and contribute positively to the wider community.
Youth leadership played an important role in organising the event. Adil Amanat represented the youth leadership, while General Secretary Angela Daniel and Treasurer Shumaila Mushtaq contributed to its planning and coordination.
Representatives from several church ministries and departments also participated. Members of the church sessions, choir, Sunday School and security team worked together to ensure the ceremony ran smoothly.
Speaking at the event, Shehbaz Sohtra and Pervez Gill praised ARP Rescue Youth for launching the publication. They encouraged young people to use their talents constructively and take an active role in strengthening their church and society.
The speakers also described young people as a valuable community asset. They stressed that opportunities for creative expression, leadership and meaningful engagement can help young people develop their abilities and contribute to society.
Moreover, they said the magazine reflects the talent, commitment and vision of the younger generation.
The publication provides a platform for young members to share their ideas, activities and creative work. In addition, it documents their contributions to church programmes and community initiatives.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, participants congratulated ARP Rescue Youth on the publication. They also expressed hope that similar initiatives would continue to encourage youth talent, community service and constructive social engagement.
The ceremony ultimately highlighted the importance of youth leadership and creativity while celebrating the contributions of young people to their church and community.
