inDrive Partnership: MAL Pakistan Joins Hands to Support Driver Welfare

KARACHI: inDrive Partnership with MAL Pakistan aims to improve driver welfare by reducing vehicle maintenance costs and expanding access to automotive services through a nationwide collaboration.

Global mobility platform inDrive has signed a strategic agreement with MAL Pakistan, the marketing alliance of ExxonMobil Lubricants and Specialties. Under the partnership, inDrive drivers across Pakistan will receive discounts on Mobil lubricants and gain access to Mobil’s nationwide network of retailers and workshops.

The companies said the initiative is designed to improve drivers’ operational efficiency and earning potential by lowering vehicle maintenance expenses while providing access to high-quality automotive products and services.

The signing ceremony was attended by inDrive Pakistan Country Manager Awais Saeed, MAL Pakistan Chief Executive Officer Khawar Jamal, JazzCash Chief Executive Officer Murtaza Ali, Chief Guest Major General Syed Anis Akbar (Retd) and Guest of Honour Major General Abid Latif (Retd).

Speaking at the event, Awais Saeed said drivers are at the centre of Pakistan’s growing gig economy and maintaining their vehicles is essential for their long-term financial sustainability. He said the partnership reflects inDrive’s commitment to empowering drivers and strengthening the country’s mobility ecosystem.

Khawar Jamal said the collaboration reinforces Mobil’s commitment to supporting Pakistan’s evolving mobility sector by combining premium lubricants with digital solutions that create value for drivers, retailers and consumers.

As part of the initiative, the partners have launched a dedicated AutoSpa facility in Islamabad to provide specialised vehicle maintenance services for drivers.

The collaboration also integrates JazzCash’s digital payment system, enabling inDrive drivers to make secure, cashless purchases of Mobil lubricants and access exclusive offers through the platform.

The companies said the partnership forms part of inDrive’s broader strategy to expand driver-focused services and help drivers manage rising operating costs while improving efficiency and financial stability.
