Chennai: In the Hero Asia Cup Hockey, hosts Malaysia secured a 0-2 victory over China. Cholan opened the scoring in the 45th minute, while Anuar doubled the lead in the 47th minute to seal the win.

India and South Korea Share Points

A thrilling encounter between India and South Korea ended in a 2-2 draw. For India, Hardik scored in the 8th minute and Mandeep struck in the 53rd minute. Korea’s Yang responded with two quick goals in the 12th and 14th minutes, ensuring both sides shared the points.

Japan Dominate Chinese Taipei

In the 5th–8th place semi-final, Japan registered a 0-2 victory against Chinese Taipei. Shinohara was the star of the match, scoring twice in the 5th and 11th minutes to secure the win.
