Karachi: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari declared that Pakistan has defeated India both militarily and diplomatically, following his return from a high-stakes diplomatic mission to the US and Europe.

Addressing a charged PPP rally in Karachi, Bilawal warned that if India violates international law or the Indus Waters Treaty, Pakistan “will fight another war.”

Diplomatic Mission Gains Global Recognition

The former foreign minister led a high-level delegation, which visited key capitals across the US, UK, and Europe. The mission aimed to counter Indian aggression and present Pakistan’s stance on the Kashmir dispute, water rights, and regional stability.

“Our message of peace, rooted in international law, was well received,” Bilawal said, crediting the success to Pakistan’s diplomatic corps and coordination with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and President Asif Ali Zardari.

Trump-Munir Meeting a Diplomatic Milestone

Bilawal hailed the recent White House meeting between US President Donald Trump and Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir as a “historic diplomatic victory.” He noted that Trump’s earlier offer to mediate on Kashmir reaffirmed the global dimension of the issue.

He added that the acknowledgment from US military leadership—calling Pakistan a “phenomenal partner” in the fight against terrorism—underscored Islamabad’s strategic importance.

Retaliation After Pahalgam Incident

The diplomatic push came after Pakistan and India exchanged cross-border strikes following the Pahalgam incident in which 26 tourists were killed in IIOJK. Pakistan responded with Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos.The 87-hour conflict ended on May 10 with a US-brokered ceasefire.
