Speaking at a ceremony at the Sindh Assembly to unveil a commemorative plaque for Pakistan’s first Constituent Assembly session, he highlighted that true strength lies not in weapons but in the unity of politics and cultural heritage.
Bilawal noted, “Nations that lose touch with their culture lag behind in progress. Pakistan’s ancient history, rooted in the Indus Civilization, is a testament to our rich heritage.” He praised the historic contributions of Sindh in the creation of Pakistan, pointing out that unity, not military might, achieved the country’s formation.
Commitment to Culture and Youth Empowerment
Bilawal reiterated his commitment to strengthening the role of politics and culture in national development. He stated, “Culture plays a greater role than politics. It defines our identity and soft power, helping us win hearts and minds globally.”
The PPP Chairman called for reviving Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto’s vision for cultural promotion, envisioning a future where Pakistani films, songs, and art enjoy global recognition. He stressed the need to equip the youth with modern tools like artificial intelligence and digital technology to represent Pakistan on the global stage.
Call for a Media University
Bilawal announced plans for a state-of-the-art Media University in Karachi through a public-private partnership. He urged the Sindh Chief Minister to expedite the project, aiming to empower Pakistan’s youth with skills to advance the country’s cultural and technological landscape.
