AIT Supports BPO and Tech Career Expo 2024

Karachi: The Aligarh Institute of Technology (AIT) proudly participated as a support partner in the BPO and Tech Career Expo 2024, held at the National Aerospace Science and Technology Park, Karachi. The event was organized in collaboration with @ibex.pakistan, bringing together key players in the technology and outsourcing sectors.

Engineer Muhammad Arshad Khan’s Special Appearance

Engineer Muhammad Arshad Khan, Convener of AIT, visited the expo and engaged with company representatives at various stalls. Highlighting AIT’s legacy, he stated, “Aligarh Institute of Technology, established in 1989, stands as Sindh’s leading technical institution, consistently playing a central role in education while upholding its long-standing values.” Khan emphasized AIT’s ongoing commitment to fostering education, development, and future-readiness among the youth.

Student Participation and Career Development

Over 50 companies exhibited at the expo, offering students valuable exposure to career opportunities in technology industries. More than 60 students from AIT’s BS Computer Science, IT, DAE Software, and CIT programs took part. AIT provided a two-day training session for the students, supported by its DIIL department and Guidance Center. The students’ participation in interviews with industry professionals significantly boosted their confidence, providing them with insights into modern technologies and emerging career paths.

Expo Draws Youth from Across Karachi

The expo, which ran from 10 AM to 4 PM, attracted a large number of young attendees from across Karachi, reinforcing AIT’s dedication to creating opportunities for students and fostering their growth in the tech industry.
