Karachi: The 14th Rashid D. Habib Memorial National Professionals Golf Tournament, hosted by Bank AL Habib, concluded in grand fashion at Karachi Golf Club, showcasing stellar performances from Pakistan’s top professional golfers.

Ahmed Baig Clinches Professional Title
Ahmed Baig (PAF) displayed remarkable consistency to secure the Professional Champion Title with a score of 273 (-15), earning a cash prize of Rs 937,676. Muhammad Zubair (KGC) finished as the runner-up with a total score of 275 (-13), winning Rs 602,787.

Senior & Junior Professionals Shine
Muhammad Tariq (ICGC) emerged victorious in the Senior Professionals category, finishing with a total of 140 (-4). Aurangzeb Khan (KGC) secured second place with 141 (-3). In the Junior Professionals division, Syed Ali Noshairwan Naqvi (LGG) claimed the title with a total score of 151 (+7), edging out Rehan Babar (LGG) at 152 (+8).

PRO-AM & Special Category Winners
The PRO-AM event featured 27 professionals, with Muhammad Zubair’s team winning the top prize of Rs 50,000. Minhaj Maqsood’s team finished as runners-up, while Shahid Javed Khan’s team secured third place. Other winners included Kamram Zahoor (KGC Caddies), Saleem Inayat (KGC Senior Professionals), and Abdullah (KGC Professionals category).

Appearance Money for Top Golfers
The top five golfers, as per PGF criteria, received PKR 200,000 each, including Muhammad Shabbir (Islamabad Golf Club), Muhammad Alam (Garrison), Muhammad Munir (Rawalpindi), Minhaj Masqood (Rawalpindi), and Muhammad Zubair (Karachi). Senior professionals Muhammad Akram, Nisar Hussain, and Muhammad Tariq were awarded PKR 75,000 each, while junior professionals Rehan Babar, Muhammad Sahil, and Shahbaz Ali shared PKR 150,000.

Hole-in-One Winners
Amjad Yousuf (Rawalpindi) scored a spectacular hole-in-one at Blue Hole #4, winning a Toyota Altis. Tallat Ijaz also achieved a hole-in-one and was awarded a golf kit.

Governor State Bank Lauds Tournament
The Chief Guest, Governor of the State Bank of Pakistan, Mr. Jamil Ahmed, praised Bank AL Habib’s Rashid D. Habib Memorial Tournament as a landmark event in Pakistan’s golf calendar. He honored the winners with mementos and awards.

The tournament featured intense competition, showcasing incredible talent and sportsmanship, reinforcing its significance as a premier platform for professional golfers in Pakistan.
