Aligarh Institute of technology organized Inter-Departmental Sports Championship (2023-2024) closing ceremony. Senior sports journalist Riazuddin was hosting the event. Olympian Samiullah Khan, the chief guest at the event, emphasized the importance of students to excel in sports along with education and to emulate hard work in every field. Former DG KDA Naveed Anwar presided over the function and thanked Aligarh Institute for organizing the sports championship.
Convener AIT Engineer Arshad Khan assured Aligarh Institute of all possible support to the students in all departments, emphasized the importance of discipline among students and the sports department to provide opportunities to students to participate in healthy competition. But appreciated.
Principal AIT Shahid Jameel paid tribute to Olympian Sami Ullah Khan, while addressing the function, encouraged Sports Convener Qazi Nasar Abbas ، Sports Officer Talat Mehmood and Mirza Mateen Baig for highlighting the interest of students in sports.
A large number of students and members of Aligarh Institute were present in the function. The Chief Guest also gave cash prizes along with trophies to the first, second and third position students from AIT.
Shields were also presented to the chief guests and faculty members.
