Preparations are underway for New Zealand’s upcoming cricket tour of Pakistan, with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and New Zealand Cricket continuing consultations over a proposed two-Test series in February and March 2027.
According to sources, the series will be officially announced once both cricket boards complete their discussions and finalise the arrangements.
New Zealand are scheduled to travel to Pakistan for two Test matches during the February-March window. However, the exact dates and other details have yet to be formally confirmed.
The proposed schedule is expected to overlap with Ramadan, with sources indicating that at least one of the Pakistan-New Zealand Tests will be played during the holy month.
PSL 2027 Schedule Leaves Limited Window
The proposed Test series will follow New Zealand’s existing international commitments. Their series against Sri Lanka is scheduled to conclude on February 16 in Hamilton.
Meanwhile, the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2027 is scheduled to begin on March 18, with team activities expected to start on March 15.
The overlapping international and domestic cricket schedules leave a limited window for the two-Test series, making coordination between the two boards essential.
The PCB and New Zealand Cricket are expected to announce the tour details after completing their final consultations.
