Andrew Garfield has said he remains open to returning as Spider-Man if the right story comes along.
The 43-year-old actor discussed the possibility during an interview with Metro Entertainment. He was asked what could convince him to wear the superhero suit again.
“Never say never. I mean, yeah, sure,” Garfield said.
“There’s so much possibility, I guess. So, if it’s deemed a worthy story then, yeah, I’d be very curious to have a chat,” he added.
Garfield’s comments are likely to renew interest among fans who have hoped to see his version of Peter Parker return.

The 2021 Marvel film brought together three live-action versions of Spider-Man. Garfield appeared alongside Tom Holland and Tobey Maguire.
The crossover marked Garfield’s return to the role after The Amazing Spider-Man and its 2014 sequel, The Amazing Spider-Man 2.
Garfield starred opposite Emma Stone in both films. Stone played Gwen Stacy, Peter Parker’s love interest in the series.
From Audition to Spider-Man
Garfield recently reflected on his original casting during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live.
He appeared on the programme with his The Uprising co-star Jamie Bell.
The two actors discussed their auditions for The Amazing Spider-Man, released in 2012.
Bell reportedly made it deep into the casting process. He also completed a screen test for the role.
Garfield eventually won the part and became the second actor to play Peter Parker in a major live-action film series.
No Confirmed Return Yet
Garfield’s latest comments do not confirm a new Spider-Man project.
Instead, the actor left the door open for future discussions. He made clear that the story would be an important factor in any potential return.
For now, Tom Holland remains the current live-action Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Garfield’s remarks, however, could fuel further speculation about another multiverse appearance.
