KARACHI, September 2026: Dr. Danish Aman has been appointed Chief Coordinator of the Pakistan Leather Garments Manufacturers & Exporters Association (PLGMEA) for the 2026–2027 term.
In his new role, Dr. Danish Aman will work closely with PLGMEA leadership and members to promote Pakistan’s leather garments industry, strengthen its presence in local and international markets, and address challenges faced by manufacturers and exporters.
His responsibilities will cover trade promotion, exports, government liaison, international engagement, market development and the resolution of industry-related issues at both local and international levels.
Dr. Danish Aman expressed gratitude for the confidence placed in him and reaffirmed his commitment to working with the association’s leadership and members to support the growth, development and international recognition of Pakistan’s leather garments sector.
He will work alongside PLGMEA Chairman Syed Shujaat Ali and Patron-in-Chief Fawad Aijaz Khan to strengthen the association and advance the interests of its members.
“Our objective will be to promote Pakistan’s leather garments industry, address the genuine concerns of our members and create greater opportunities for our manufacturers and exporters in international markets,” Dr. Danish Aman said.
