The Consulate General of Saudi Arabia in Karachi hosted a ceremony to mark the 96th National Day of Saudi Arabia, bringing together senior government officials, diplomats and prominent members of the business community.
Governor Sindh Syed Nihal Hashmi attended the ceremony as the chief guest. Federal Minister Chaudhry Salik Hussain, Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Irfan Soomro, Provincial Minister Saeed Ghani and Zulfiqar Ali Shah were also present.

Saudi Consul General Nasir Al-Subaie welcomed the guests and highlighted the significance of the occasion.
The ceremony was attended by senior diplomats and representatives from several countries, including British Deputy High Commissioner Tom Bridge, the American Head of Public Affairs, Oman’s Consul General Engineer Sami Abdullah Al-Khanjari, UAE Consul General Dr. Bakheet Ateeq Al-Remeithi, German Consul General Thomas A. Shalz and Japanese Consul General Hatori Masaru.
Consuls General and diplomatic representatives from Malaysia, Indonesia, Ivory Coast and Morocco also attended the event.
Among the Pakistani guests were industrialist Hamza Tabani, Athar Iqbal and Member of the National Assembly Mirza Ikhtiar Baig.
The ceremony concluded with the cutting of a cake to commemorate Saudi Arabia’s 96th National Day
