The federal government has announced another increase in petroleum product prices, raising fuel costs for consumers across Pakistan.
According to a notification issued by the Petroleum Division, the price of petrol has been increased by Rs4.42 per litre, while diesel has become Rs6.10 per litre more expensive.
Following the latest adjustment, petrol will now be available at Rs380.24 per litre, while the price of diesel has risen to Rs409.42 per litre.
The revised prices will take effect from September 15, 2026, and will remain applicable for one day, according to the Petroleum Division notification.
The increase comes as households continue to face pressure from rising living expenses. Higher fuel prices are also expected to affect transportation costs and may contribute to further increases in the prices of goods and services.
