KARACHI: The Consulate General of Malaysia in Karachi, in collaboration with Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS), hosted the “Study in Malaysia” Education Fair and Cultural Event at Avari Towers Karachi, bringing Malaysian educational opportunities closer to students in the city.
The event attracted a large number of students who explored study options offered by Malaysian institutions across various academic levels. Programmes range from foundation and undergraduate courses to postgraduate and professional qualifications in fields including business, engineering, medicine, information technology, hospitality and tourism, communication and creative industries.

Students had the opportunity to obtain information directly from participating institutions about admission requirements, scholarships, tuition fees, campus life and potential career opportunities.
Malaysia has emerged as an attractive destination for international students seeking internationally recognised qualifications in a multicultural environment. The country hosts students from diverse backgrounds and offers academic programmes across a wide range of disciplines.

The event also featured the participation of PERWAKILAN Karachi, which established a cultural and tourism booth highlighting Malaysia’s heritage, tourism destinations and traditions. Visitors were served a selection of traditional Malaysian delicacies, including Kuih Lapis, Kuih Cara Berlauk, Kuih Karipap and Kuih Bakar.
A special cultural performance further added to the event, giving visitors an opportunity to experience Malaysia’s vibrant cultural diversity.
The education fair provided a platform to strengthen Malaysia-Pakistan educational and people-to-people ties while promoting Malaysia as a destination for international education, cultural exchange and tourism.
