Per tola gold drops by Rs2,400 amid global downward trend
Gold prices in Pakistan declined on Tuesday, tracking a downward trend in the international bullion market.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Association, the price of gold per tola fell by Rs2,400 to reach Rs475,362, while the price of 10 grams decreased by Rs2,057 to Rs407,546.
International Market Pressure
In global trading, gold prices dropped by $24 per ounce, settling at $4,530 per ounce. The decline in international rates directly influenced local market adjustments in Pakistan.
Silver Prices Also Slide
Silver prices also followed a downward trajectory in both local and international markets.
In the global market, silver fell by $1.53 per ounce to $76.33. In Pakistan, the price of silver per tola declined by Rs153 to Rs8,117, while 10 grams dropped by Rs131 to Rs6,959.
