“No One Can Harm Pakistan”: DG ISPR Says Armed Forces Crushed India During Marka-e-Haq

RAWALPINDI: Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry on Thursday declared that Pakistan had inflicted a “humiliating defeat” on India during Marka-e-Haq, warning that the country’s armed forces remain fully prepared to respond to any future aggression.

Addressing a joint press conference alongside senior officials from the Pakistan Navy and Pakistan Air Force, the DG ISPR marked one year since the completion of Marka-e-Haq and congratulated the nation on what he described as a historic victory.

“A year ago, we ground India’s pride into the dust. We have always said that no one can harm Pakistan. We were ready then, and we are ready now,” Lt Gen Chaudhry stated.

He claimed Pakistan had defeated India across air, land, sea and cyber domains, describing Marka-e-Haq as a successful example of modern multi-domain warfare.

The military spokesperson accused India of spreading a false narrative linking Pakistan to terrorism and alleged that New Delhi frequently staged false flag operations to justify its accusations.

Referring to the Pahalgam incident, he said India blamed Pakistan within minutes without presenting any evidence even a year later.

“India’s terrorism drama has been buried forever,” he said, adding that India itself was involved in sponsoring terrorism in the region.

The DG ISPR further alleged that India was supporting militant activities in Pakistan and accused New Delhi of using “Fitna-al-Khawarij” and “Fitna-al-Hindustan” proxies following its defeat.

He stressed that Pakistan remained committed to regional peace and stability, warning that conflict between two nuclear powers would be “madness.”

Lt Gen Chaudhry also announced that Pakistan would showcase “a small glimpse” of its military capabilities on Independence Day of Pakistan.

On Kashmir, he reiterated Pakistan’s longstanding stance that the dispute was internationally recognised and not India’s internal matter, while accusing India of committing human rights abuses in Kashmir and Manipur.

Discussing ties with Saudi Arabia, the DG ISPR highlighted the strategic defence partnership between the two countries and reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to the security of the Masjid al-Haram and Al-Masjid an-Nabawi.

“Any threat to Saudi Arabia will be considered a direct threat to Pakistan,” he stated.

Responding to questions about Afghanistan, Lt Gen Chaudhry said Operation Ghazab lil Haq was still ongoing but emphasised that Pakistan held no hostility towards the Afghan people.

Rear Admiral Shifaat Ali Khan described Marka-e-Haq as a “historic and memorable” operation, claiming Pakistan’s naval forces had neutralised India’s maritime ambitions and forced the Indian Navy into retreat.

He alleged that India had attempted to deploy vessels in the northern Arabian Sea to target Pakistan’s maritime trade routes, but Pakistan Navy successfully protected all ports and sea lanes.

The Rear Admiral also claimed the Pakistan Navy and Air Force had prepared plans to destroy India’s aircraft carrier INS Vikrant if the conflict escalated further.

Meanwhile, Air Vice Marshal Tariq Ghazi said the Pakistan Air Force had achieved an “8-0” outcome against the Indian Air Force during the confrontation.

He claimed Pakistan destroyed several Indian aircraft, including Dassault Rafale jets, MiG-29s, Su-30s and Mirage 2000 aircraft during the engagements.

Ghazi also said Pakistan’s domestically developed JF-17 Thunder Block III aircraft were used to strike India’s S-400 air defence systems.

Calling the operation a “classical case study” in modern air warfare, the PAF official said Pakistan would continue upgrading its military capabilities to maintain its strategic edge in future conflicts.
