Karachi: The Russian House in Karachi celebrated the graduation ceremony of its 9th batch of theatre students with vibrant performances and cultural showcases. The event, attended by over 100 guests, highlighted the remarkable talent and creativity of young performers.

The evening featured three theatrical plays — Marriage Proposal, I Am Sorry Master, and The Language Please — performed with dedication by the graduating students. The program also included Russian and Pakistani songs, adding a cultural fusion to the celebrations.

A special highlight of the evening was a heartfelt tribute to legendary singer Madam Noor Jahan, performed by a 5-year-old girl who captivated the audience with her melodious voice. Children also dressed as singers and mentors, reflecting their versatility and artistic flair.

Director of the Russian House, Mr. Ruslan M. Prokhrov, awarded certificates to graduates and presented shields in various categories, including Best Actor (Male & Female), Best Supporting Actor (Male & Female), Best Child Actor (Male & Female), and a Special Award.

The efforts of Asif Ilyas and his team were specially recognized for making the program a resounding success.

Continuing its mission of cultural and theatrical development, the Russian House announced the opening of admissions for its 10th theatre batch in September.
