Dubai: The MICHELIN Guide has released its highly anticipated 2025 Dubai edition, marking a historic milestone for the city’s dining scene. For the first time ever, Dubai is home to two restaurants awarded the prestigious Three MICHELIN Stars: Trèsind Studio and FZN by Björn Frantzén. This achievement cements Dubai’s position as a rising global culinary hotspot.

The 2025 guide features 119 restaurants across 35 diverse cuisines, reflecting a remarkable 72.5% growth since the inaugural 2022 edition. This rapid expansion highlights Dubai’s emergence as a world-class gastronomic destination.

Trèsind Studio, led by Chef Himanshu Saini, becomes the first Indian restaurant globally to earn Three MICHELIN Stars. The restaurant offers a unique dining experience, blending traditional Indian flavors with modern techniques. Meanwhile, FZN by Björn Frantzén, a newcomer to Dubai, earns Three Stars, making Chef Frantzén the first chef worldwide with three different restaurants holding this top accolade.

In addition to the two new three-starred venues, the guide also adds two new One MICHELIN Star restaurants, increasing the total to 14, and awards five new Bib Gourmand distinctions for quality dining at moderate prices.

The awards were announced during a ceremony at Address Sky View hotel, celebrating Dubai’s dynamic and diverse culinary landscape.

Gwendal Poullennec, International Director of the MICHELIN Guide, praised Dubai’s “rapid transformation into a global culinary hub,” while Issam Kazim, CEO of Dubai Corporation for Tourism and Commerce Marketing, called this “a pivotal moment” for the city’s gastronomic journey.
