Taylor Swift Wedding: Taylor Swift Marries Travis Kelce in Star-Studded New York Ceremony

Taylor Swift and NFL star Travis Kelce have married in a high-profile ceremony at Madison Square Garden in New York, bringing their three-year relationship to a celebrated milestone.

Swift’s publicist confirmed the marriage on Friday as guests arrived at the iconic Manhattan venue, where giant exterior screens displayed the message: “JUST&T MARRIED!” The announcement ended months of speculation surrounding one of the world’s most closely watched celebrity couples.

According to the publicist, comedian Adam Sandler officiated the ceremony. Swift’s brother, Austin Swift, served as the man of honor, while Kelce’s brother, former NFL player Jason Kelce, was the best man.

The couple wore custom-designed outfits by Christian Dior, while Swift completed her bridal look with Cartier jewellery. No official wedding photographs were released.

The guest list featured several prominent figures from entertainment and sport, including Jennifer Lopez, Ed Sheeran, Jimmy Fallon, Abby Wambach, Hugh Grant, Jason Sudeikis and Ethan Hawke. Fans gathered outside the venue throughout the day in the hope of catching a glimpse of the celebrity arrivals despite tight security.

Many supporters, widely known as “Swifties”, celebrated outside Madison Square Garden. Some carried handmade signs inspired by Swift’s lyrics, while others wore friendship bracelets in tribute to the singer.

The Empire State Building lit up in light blue on Friday evening, referencing the traditional wedding custom of wearing “something blue” for good luck.

Preparations for the event had continued for several days before the ceremony. Workers delivered catering, staging equipment and decorations to the arena, while US media reported that more than 1,000 guests had been invited to attend the celebrations during the Independence Day holiday weekend.

The couple also announced through their publicist that they had donated $26 million to several charities in New York and other locations ahead of their wedding.

Swift and Kelce began their relationship in 2023 after the NFL star publicly revealed on his podcast that he had unsuccessfully attempted to meet the singer following one of her Eras Tour concerts. His story attracted Swift’s attention, and the pair soon began dating.

They later appeared together at concerts, NFL games and television events before announcing their engagement on Instagram in August 2025.

Taylor Swift remains one of the world’s most successful recording artists, with 14 Grammy Awards and a record-breaking global concert tour that helped make her a billionaire. Kelce is regarded as one of the NFL’s leading players and has won three Super Bowl titles with the Kansas City Chiefs alongside quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
