Sikhs for Justice hails Field Marshal Asim Munir, expresses solidarity with Pakistan

KARACHI: Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) leader Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, addressing a press conference at the Karachi Press Club via video link from the United States, paid tribute to Pakistan’s Field Marshal and Chief of Defence Forces Hafiz Syed Asim Munir, saying that under his leadership Pakistan demonstrated its military strength during Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos.

Pannun claimed that Pakistan’s response to India had enhanced the country’s standing on the global stage, adding that since India’s attack and subsequent setback, Pakistan had emerged as a rising global power.

He further said that Field Marshal Asim Munir had become a strong voice for peace during the US-Iran conflict, while former US President Donald Trump had on several occasions acknowledged his services.

Speaking on behalf of pro-Khalistan supporters, Pannun said Sikhs would continue to stand with Pakistan and would support the country in the event of any future Indian aggression.

On the occasion of the 40th Khalistan Declaration Day, Sikhs for Justice also announced the launch of voter registration for the Khalistan referendum across India.

According to the organisation, more than 1.8 million Sikhs worldwide have already participated in the referendum process. Pannun said the voter registration campaign would be conducted in phases through gurdwaras, beginning in Delhi, Himachal Pradesh and Haryana.

He reiterated the organisation’s commitment to its campaign for an independent Punjab, stating that the movement would continue until the establishment of Khalistan.

Pannun added that what began as a regional movement had now evolved into a global campaign, and efforts would be intensified to further expand the Khalistan movement internationally.
