PM Shehbaz Orders Faster Implementation of Youth Programme Projects

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has directed authorities to accelerate the implementation of projects under the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, calling for initiatives that deliver measurable results and address the actual needs of young people.

The prime minister issued the directives during a meeting with Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan, who called on him on Thursday.

Shehbaz Sharif described Pakistan’s youth as the country’s most valuable asset and a key force behind its future development. He said the government was using available resources to provide young people with modern education, skills, employment and business opportunities.

The participants also discussed expanding educational, skills development, digital and welfare programmes for young people.

The prime minister stressed the importance of ensuring effective and transparent implementation of these initiatives so that young people can benefit directly from government programmes.

The meeting comes as the government continues to focus on skills development, digital opportunities and entrepreneurship as key areas for improving employment prospects for Pakistan’s youth.
