ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to dialogue, cooperation, and peaceful resolution of disputes in accordance with the principles of the United Nations Charter, marking the International Day of Multilateralism and Diplomacy for Peace.
In his message on the occasion, the prime minister said that at a time when the international community was confronted with complex and evolving security challenges, Pakistan remained firmly committed to promoting diplomacy and dialogue as essential tools for ensuring regional and global peace and stability. He emphasized that Pakistan’s ongoing mediation efforts in the region were guided by the same principles of cooperation, mutual respect, and peaceful engagement, reflecting the country’s longstanding foreign policy priorities.
The prime minister further underscored that Pakistan would continue to play a constructive role in bridging differences among nations and advancing regional and international harmony through multilateral cooperation. Reaffirming Pakistan’s enduring commitment to the UN Charter, he said the country would persist in its efforts to promote peace, strengthen partnerships, and contribute meaningfully to collective international initiatives aimed at ensuring sustainable peace and security worldwide.
