Petrol, Diesel Prices Hit New Records as Fuel Rates Rise Again in Pakistan

Fuel prices have risen again in Pakistan, with petrol and diesel becoming more expensive from September 11, 2026.

The latest adjustment has pushed both products to new record levels. Diesel has moved closer to the Rs400-per-litre mark, while petrol has crossed Rs370 per litre.

Under the latest revision, the price of petrol has increased by Rs3.05 per litre. The new price stands at Rs370.80 per litre.

Diesel has recorded a larger increase of Rs5.37 per litre. Its price has reached Rs398.04 per litre.

The latest increase follows another sharp adjustment announced earlier in the week.

Petrol had previously risen by Rs5.58 per litre to Rs364.35. Diesel had also increased by Rs4.18 per litre to Rs385.95 under the previous adjustment.

The repeated increases are expected to add further pressure on transport costs and household expenses as consumers face higher fuel prices.
