Pakistan Pavilion: Consul General Inaugurates National Showcase at Middle East Energy 2026

DUBAI: Pakistan has inaugurated its national pavilion at the 50th edition of Middle East Energy 2026, as the country seeks to strengthen its presence in international energy markets and explore new business opportunities.

Pakistan’s Consul General in Dubai, H.E. Hussain Muhammad, inaugurated the Pakistan Pavilion at the Dubai World Trade Centre, where the three-day exhibition is being held from September 1 to September 3.

Middle East Energy is among the region’s leading energy exhibitions. The event brings together more than 35,000 energy professionals, around 1,900 international exhibitors and participants from over 150 countries.

Organised under the auspices of the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), the Pakistan Pavilion features five Pakistani companies showcasing products, expertise and innovative solutions.

The participating companies are presenting capabilities across key energy transition sectors, including power generation, grids and transmission, energy storage and energy management.

Speaking at the inauguration, Consul General Hussain Muhammad said Pakistan’s participation reflected the country’s growing presence in the international energy sector.

He said the exhibition offered Pakistani companies an important platform to showcase their capabilities in smart energy solutions, renewable technologies and power infrastructure.

The Consul General added that Pakistan’s participation could help local companies explore new commercial opportunities and establish stronger links with international partners.

He said the presence of Pakistani products at the exhibition demonstrated the country’s potential to compete in the global energy market.

Hussain Muhammad also emphasised the importance of international exhibitions in helping Pakistani businesses expand their networks and strengthen Pakistan’s commercial footprint abroad.

He thanked the UAE authorities and the Dubai World Trade Centre for facilitating Pakistan’s participation in the event.

The Consul General also appreciated the efforts of the Commercial Section of the Consulate in supporting the country’s participation.

During his visit, Hussain Muhammad toured the stalls of the participating Pakistani companies and interacted with their representatives. He assured them of the Consulate’s continued support in exploring international markets and developing business connections.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Trade and Investment Counsellor Ali Zeb Khan, Counsellors M. Haroon Chaudhry and Muhammad Saleh, Pakistan Business Council Dubai Chairman Shabbir Merchant, representatives of participating companies and other guests.

Pakistan’s participation at Middle East Energy 2026 is expected to provide local companies with opportunities to promote their expertise, build international partnerships and expand their access to global energy markets.
